1 fine October day in Ferndale's manufacturing district 175 self-selecting Teen on a field trip 6 amazing businesses, giving time and expertise to the workforce of the future! 10 dedicated school staff 15 energetic volunteers + PxE support staff 2 zones in the Iron Ridge Marketplace District.

Teach educators and youth how to begin working in POWER, whether its in gas, renewable energy, electric trades or many other options.

WHAT IS IT?

Framework for a training workshop for educators, counselors or HR professionals to learn about how to promote a specific INDUSTRY to youth, the career paths, the education process, the application process, what the current culture is and statistics.
We teach you what components are needed for Professional Development certification for your attendees, best practices for programming, how to procure resources and find the perfect site for your event. The workshop is best conducted over 90 minutes - 4 hours, but can be any range of time you need, depending on the content you are sharing and the requirement of knowledge of the audience.

We are using our event design skills and science center experience to drive a series of events that connect industries facing a talent gap to teens who are searching to find a career pathway. Our series of industry themed events are geared towards teens and their exposure to current high demand types of work. We also aim to link them to businesses in their community and beyond.
